Welcome to The Fox Unleashed

Hello and welcome to FoxontheRocks.org and to its official blog: The Fox Unleashed! My name is Robbi Erickson-Guild, and I will be your guide.

Before the official launch of FoxontheRocks.org, I wanted to take a moment to prime you for what’s to come. The FoxontheRocks.org is not just a book and gift store, it’s a social enterprise. This means that a portion of the profits will be used to support our digital outreach program that serves communities in Nova Scotia by offering older adults and marginalized groups access to digital education and support services. Our program offers free and fee-based options that teach basic to intermediate digital literacy skills to those people who are non-native technology users or people who find technology more frustrating than helpful.

This site will offer a great array of fiction and nonfiction books written by local and regional authors. We will also feature local artisans, artists, and craftspeople and the treasures they create. In addition to the store, we will also offer a free reading corner where you can sample some of the books we sell, download free ebooks and learning materials, and take part in digital seminars and classes on a wide selection of topics.

My intent in creating this site was to build a digital community where we can share, support, and encourage each other to learn, grow, and find creative wilderness to explore together.

FoxontheRocks.org will officially launch in November 2026 on Friday the 13^th. Join us for special promotions, giveaways, guest speakers, and activities. In the meantime, feel free to explore the store and our offerings, keeping in mind this is still a site under construction.
